Dr Andrew Yun verbally promised me I would receive Vancomycin as a surgical antibiotic. He did this because I told him I had C-diff infections numerous times due to other antibiotics. Instead of getting Vancomycin as promised, I received 2 grams if Ancef. This is not necessarily wrong, but it is not what he informed he would do at my consultation, and Ancef does have a higher risk of giving a patient c. Diff. — but it may also a have greater chance of preventing postoperative infection. I did get C. diff. But right now the infection seems to be resolving well. However, there is always a chance that c. Diff. will return. My hip is healing well, so I believe Dr Yun probably is a good surgeon. However, my colon is still in questionable condition. I cannot recommend Dr Yun to anyone because he has not explained why he told me why I would receive Vancomycin—but instead got Ancef.

I am amazed at the quick recover from a total hip replacement by Dr. Yun. I was up walking after surgery! Not only was I left feeling confident and impressed by his professionalism, his staff, the education the team provided to me before and after surgery, the patience and concern I received confirmed I was with the right Doctor and did the best thing for my health only wished I had done it sooner. I have had my second hip replacement with Dr. Yun a couple weeks ago. I had my first hip replacement in January of 2020. I should mention my mom had one about 7 years ago, too! We couldn’t be more pleased. Dr. Yun is amazing! My friend also had a hip replacement. And our friend is going in in a couple weeks. There is no reason to fear a hip replacement or be in pain. I was walking to the bathroom just 6 hours after surgery! I left the hospital by 2pm the next day! I didn’t have much pain at all. My surgery went very well, as well as my friends. I’m so happy these surgeries went so well. The team of Dr. Yun’s is also the very best! Very kind and understanding. They were always helpful and there when I needed to ask questions. It’s quite remarkable how easy this surgery is, compared to the pain you can be going thru. Everyone is different but if you’re in pain it will change you life. Dr. Yun is very knowledgeable about his work. You don’t even need to go under anesthesia any more! I can’t speak highly enough for Dr. Yun and my 2 amazing new hips! I am finely pain free! Thank you Dr. Yun and thank you to his amazing staff!

I had my hip replaced by Dr. Yun exactly one year ago and am so glad I did.The care by the staff was exceptional, I felt very safe. I was walking 2 hours later, felt great within 10 days and was in Thailand snorkeling 4 months later. He is fabulous and getting hip surgery is the best thing I have ever done for my health!
