My safe place to be always to get away from everything and come to a sisters action group who feeds you and you get seconds if you like. A park for the kids and staff who will help you with almost everything that the program offers. This is my place I started from years ago and haven't forgot where I come from. This place help me and I help cook and wash dishes/clean. Love you all sisters of love and understanding us as woman in need at times when no one else will. Thanks much appreciated!!!!

I appreciate all the hard working volunteers and how polite they are every time I went to pick up my mail or get items for my children or food and hygiene. Be weary if you decide to get any further assistance such as case management I found myself in a very dishonest situation and was heartbroken to find out this is happening and there is nothing we as clients can do and say it just all gets erased thanks for everything. But you ladies are wrong and I just pray nobody else suffers the way I did.

Questions & Answers

Do you all accept clothing donations? Or know where I can bring women’s shoes and professional clothing?

Women's Daytime Drop-In Center | Aug 28, 2021

hi Jackie, We are not taking used clothing donations with the exception of winter coats. We best serve our clients with meals, groceries, diapers, hygiene and sanitary products and case management resources for housing. Socks and gloves are also appreciated. I would recommend Wardrobe for Opportunities for your donation of clothing as they are an organization that serves individual entering the workforce. Thank you for reaching out to us!

The WDDC can give you contact info for support services and shelter. They do not provide housing.
