I live straight down the street and walk here often. There is a NA Alano Club meeting central building at the center of what seems like 30-100 homeless people struggling with recovery. I don't recommend you be here after dark. Fear nothing durring the day, be aware that many of these homeless carry weapons, guns, knives and are frantic or exhausted from malnourishment, lack of sleep, hygiene and drug/alcohol abuse. That Said, I still don't mind meeting up with my mother for a picnic lunch on weekends, and this location has great view of the delta, watching the boats and jet skiing inspired me to buy my very own jet ski, so I do recommend we take this place back from the homeless and fill the day with family fun!

We caught two sturgeon, one was 25" the other one was 32" it was fun catching them, they were too small to keep.. "The fish were biting the night we were there."

Lamposts light up the whole peir at night. Homeless stay near the trainstation. If your not by yourself then there no issue at all.
You do not need a license to fish from a public pier.
Yes, are supposed to have one. Many do not that do go down & fish.
Yes you do need a license. But the game warden hardly ever comes and i know you know which fish tk keep and which to toss back and you always go online. And pufchase especially if you love to fish as much as i do..
On bridgehead rd.
Not that know of I myself have never come across any myself but have caught some nice stripper. had to throw a few back in but still π
I don't think there are any crabs but you can catch crawdads in some of the creeks off of the main river. For example at Dow wetlands. Not sure if that helped or not π¦π¦
My son and alot of people including myself has never seen nor caught a crab, we go out to the city to catch crabs. A big feast!!!!
