Was closed early and had mountain lion warning ⚠️ signs all over the gate. Otherwise a pretty decent park of a canyon you can hike around 🙂 First park I've reviewed where you or your pet could be eaten! 🦁 Has bathrooms in the lower section by the picknick area and also a field and a playground in the upper area

Good place to do pinnic in the low area. Nice playground with lots of fun features , and most liked the sand area is a must to bring some toys or even a reusable cup so your little one can get entertained and use their fine motor skills:) and nice trail.

A great find! Looking for an hour walk? A creek to romp in? Dog friendly? This is the place! Seriously, a great nature walk in the middle of an urban area where you can take your dog.

Beautiful park. Went for a picnic with a large group. There was opportunity for children to run around and have fun safely (aside from other people who like to show their dogs to roam free). Beautiful scenery... Good for sitting down or hiking. Could use some additional signage in certain places. GPS often leads to residential home front/back yards.

Yes. In fact there are several trails that allow off leash walking. There are lots of free poop bags and garbage cans, too. A true doggie heaven in the middle of RWC.

It's so huge. Is the park hard to find while driving?

Coming from Farm Hill Road, there is signage denoting "SLOW - PARK" on the pavement, as well as a stoplight installed explicitly for the pedestrian crosswalk to the park, but the park itself is not particularly easy to see in traffic, as the playground is somewhat obscured by trees and shrubbery. For the entrance on Recreation Way, the small side street dead-ends into the gate and sign for the park. For the entrance on Parkdale Way, there is a small path to the left of the dead-end sign, It's easy to look up the road and think that there's no way in because the small trees to the left slightly obscure your view of the narrow pedestrian entrance.
