Three ladies, 2 of us sisters and it was at least an hour away but so worth it! This is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon (or morning) with family, a friend or date or groups! We had so much fun going through the caverns on the boat! Very interesting and educational! Highly recommend

This is a really nice experience. The people here are very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. This is an all boat trip on an underground river in the cave. This particular cave does not have the damp ceilings and formations that some of the other local caves do but it's still just as great an experience. This also completed our tour of caves experience for 4 Indiana cave tours in the area.

The tour was pretty good. The tour guide, Maddox, was great. Funny and extremely knowledgeable about the cave, from the science behind it to the history. The boat is better than Indiana Caverns boats because the seats face outward, but they don't have any lighting other than the boat, so if you aren't in the front, it's hard to get any good photos. So if that's important to you, keep that in mind and try to get on the boat last (they turn it around so that ends up being the front). The cave itself is beautiful, but there are far fewer formations in it than the other 3 caves. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the lack of lighting in the cave, which the other 3 caves in the Indiana Cave walk are better at, and the gift shop and souvenirs are by far the worst out of the 4, in terms of selection and quality. There's also less to do while you wait, unlike the other caves, which have several things to do. They do have gem mining here, however, they also have that at all the other ones, so if you aren't planning on doing it at all 4, then maybe wait to do it here to fill up some time. The staff was super friendly, however, and the tour is absolutely worth the money still.

Our parking lot surrounds the Visitor Center. Walking distance from parking lot to Visitor Center is 50 to 200 feet and access is handicapped accessible. The Caverns entrance is a 100' walk via a fairly steep concrete ramp from the Visitor Center. The concrete trail in the Caverns which descends to the boat departure dock is 200' in length and, again, is a fairly steep ramp. The only stairs involved are two into the tour boat.
No but they do not recommend under 4 years old on their website
It's an amazing place. Stayed all night with our scout troop. Amazing experience!
Yes, the trail around the sinkhole was a nice short hike that my family did to stretch our legs before getting on the boat tour. A few parts were steep though, it's not on flat ground.
It was cool yesterday
