Muir Woods Shuttle Stop

Would not recommend taking the shuttle. If you can't get parking that day, I'd recommend another day, or going to a different park. They are advertising capacity being limited to 50%, but that is not true. They are holding buses (even after the scheduled time) until they are completely full. And then you are riding a bus for 30-40 minutes jammed in with a bunch of other people, with no air flow. When getting ready to leave the park, it is such a pain. It was a total mess while we waited for almost 40 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. There was very little signage, no one helping to make sure the lines were respected, so groups were just showing up towards the front, and ignoring the line that was forming. If you have any plans after the visiting the park, leave yourself a couple hours longer than you'd expect, since you are likely to just sit around waiting for a while.

Our first visit to Muir Woods since the new parking rules. The shuttle is really convenient and easy to get. Our driver "Pauly" was very helpful and courteous. The woods themselves are a beautiful way to spend a day. Highly recommend

I run shuttle Buses out of here. And of course we do good. It's a good place to come too and go visit Muir Woods. Don't have to worry about the parking wrote have it and also take you up to Muir Woods in our Shuttle. And the fare is very reasonable. It is only $5 for the park and the shuttle.

OMIGOSH! What a great service. I used it for the first time today and I don't think I will ever NOT USE it! Currently it is $5 round trip, a bargain by any standard. The lot is easily accessible right off of the highway. Busses leave the shuttle stop and Muir woods to return to the shuttle stop about every 20 minutes - give or take. This is really so much more pleasant that battling the hills/traffic/cyclist on your own.
