The outside doesn't look like much, but the inside is absolutely beautiful. I had the butter chicken with naan which I thought was very good. I had a Turkish Mule to drink and thought it was good. Service is friendly and attentive. We had a few different people show up to our table to check on us which gave off a family atmosphere to the restaurant.

Wonderfully flavorful. The Pistachio Chicken is luscious. The goat full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We tried the gulab jamuns and it is such a fabulous dessert. Be careful it is very hot, but worth the wait.

My first time here. Food was great!! Really good!! Service not so much. There was some kinda confusion about how to make a Lemonade. That I had to ask for three times and got Lemon Water. It tasted like lemon water. We had too many different people coming to our table, wasn't sure who was our server. But the Lady that there was so friendly, and Nice and Helpful she made our experience better. I will definitely get food here again, but probably take out.

Himalayan Chimney is a go-to spot if you're ever in the UIUC area! The food is delicious and so flavourful, and the restaurant itself has a very clean and modern interior. We were served very quickly even though the place was packed. The servers were very attentive and helped us select appetizers - some of the items we ordered were the samosa chat, tikki, calamari, tandoori chicken, lamb chops, a few orders of garlic naan, and chai to drink. Everything was delicious and spiced perfectly. The food came out very quickly and the tikki especially was well seasoned and crispy. We packed our leftovers and everything was still just as good the next day! Before leaving UIUC, we actually went back and ordered an extra set of lamb chops and garlic naan to-go for a friend that we were driving to see the next day (even though she no longer lives in the area, this place is one of her faves!)

I've never had their butter chicken, but the chicken size from their tandoori chicken are a small-medium size. The naan comes in 2 pieces.
Yes. My friend eats only halal and he seems to love this place. Infact this was his comment "this is the best Indian food I have had in mid west".
Yes
I usually ask my food to be made extra extra spicy and I haven't been disappointed so far. They are good at making most dishes spicy without sacrificing flavor.
You have to call them directly and ask for that probably
Large variety of vegetarian options. They mark all items that are spicy and can accommodate spice levels to your tolerance.
