This is absolutely the best antique store in SF. The owners Keith and Howard are extremely knowledgeable about all types and periods of antiques from furniture to silver. They are very friendly and eager to share information with you. Not only are you surrounded by beautiful things but you get the history and background of each piece. Instead of going to a chain store for furnishings visit Antique and Art Exchange. You will find a treasure with a history rather than a mass produced item. Their collection is very diverse and has something for every room in your home. We purchased an absolutely beautiful early 19th century French farm table for our wine country home. It has a gorgeous patina and two draw leaves which extend to seat 14. And just recently Keith found us a Charles Hollis Jones lucite dining table from the '60's that seats 4 comfortably for our SF pied a terre. These are great examples of the breadth of their collection. And if they don’t have what you want (unlikely) they will research and find it for you. Highly recommend you visit them.

This is my Go To place for art and antiques. It is my favorite source to spice up my table settings and my clients. I often buy different salad plates to create different looks while using the same dinner plates. It is like being in a magical room full of treasure. I find very unique and interesting pieces of art and antiques to bring life into a room. even if you think you do not like antiques, they are a source for finding beautifully made pieces and at prices cheaper than mass produced furniture. If you care about the planet, buy furniture already made. You will find woods that are not available anymore and with the patina in,y age can bring. If they do not have a piece if furniture you are looking for in the store, they have great sources. I made a mistake buying an antique linen press from E bay, linen presses are great for storage of shoes, sweaters, handbags and hats. The big shelves pull out so your items can lie flat and are easily seen. The piece arrived with shelves and drawers that did not work, and it ended up costing much more than I paid. Antique & Art Exchange is a wonderful source and you be able to see the desired pieces plus the owners are a great source of knowledge and great fun.

What an exceptional and eclectic collection of beautiful objects. This place is inspirational for a professional, an amateur or anybody interested in creating a unique and gorgeous interior. Their professionalism and deep knowledge of their wares is matched only by their extensive inventory.

So sorry, Nothing close. These white pieces you see on line are usually recently repainted. Keep this in mind as you look. Unfortunately as an antique not many of these where made. The people buying such things usually had huge rooms. Thx Howard
Sorry no.
Hi, Just saw your question. At the moment Lost Arts might be better for you. I certainly have heard the name before but suspect this firm in SF is better able to find you a buyer. Thanks Howard
