Had oil change and tires done. Tires ok (good deal actually). But when my daughter came home with her Jetta I checked the oil and it was 2 quarts low. Checked the filter and it was the same filter I put on 3 months prior. Called them and they said to come in and they would make it right but they “aren’t sure what happened”. I thought to myself “I don’t want them touching my dam car again”. So I went and bought some Mobile 1 and filter and changed it myself. I don’t know why they cut corners so much, and at your cars expense. Now that I’ve read more reviews on this location I see the staff isn’t so great. Things are expensive enough these days and it’s sad you can’t go somewhere (supposedly reputable) to get quality service done. If I never would have checked the oil I hate to think what might have happened. Closing my PEP Boys credit card account and will NEVER go to any PEP Boys ever again.

This review is for the Hertz Rental company, absolute worst 2 ppl I’ve ever delt with in my life. The young black lady who works there does NOT care or like her job she’s extremely rude and not helpful. I just tried to renew my rental ..and she wouldn’t let me use my physical debit card to make the payment ..she refused …so instead she only would process the rental via her computer which already has my card uploaded in it. And because she was doing it via her computer, my bank kept thinking it was some weird internet charged and continued to block it. I was on the phone w my bank for hours and they kept unblocking it and I even had a manager on the phone to try to make the charge go through and they said the only way it’d go trough is if she would simply just let me use my actual Physical card…the lady said her name was Kamira but I know she was lying. She has an awful attitude..I asked to speak to her manager to see if they could help me and she rolls er eyes everytime and tells me to call corporate..when I do that I get someone overseas who cannot help me. All she had to do was allow me to put my debit card in the actual machine and it would’ve worked and she just wouldn’t. The other guy David is just as bad ..when I went to go renew my car he tried to put me on a “do not rent” list….for no reason at all. Then he tried to charge my card without me noticing. But because I emptied my account out to another account before I went in it wouldn’t go through. Then he tried to take out $610 then $100 just to see if he could get anything out. That’s a very evil Thing to do. It’s not like he told me what the charge was and made sure I was ready for the charge to be made he just went ahead and tried to charge me like 10 times. I asked him why he did that and he said “cus you owe us money.” Like I know that and I’m ready to pay but communicate with me and also his attitude was bad he was super rude to me. So was “Kamira” WHO WAS MANAGING THIS BRANCH AND HOW COME THEY ARE NEVER THERE AND WHY CANT I SPEAK TO THEM. What stops these ppl from being extremely rude, evil not helpful and overall trying to make it more difficult ppl..nothing the Hertz manager is never never ever there. And neither person will let you speak to them. “Kamira” how come you won’t ever let me speak to a manager when I ask and instead always tell me to call the # on the back of the pamphlet? She’s constantly on her phone watching social media clips shes not friendly. It’s not like you walk in and someone says “hi how are you?!” They sit they’re mad as hell that they’re there and do NOT like their job and it’s INSTANT childish attitude as soon as you walk in.

I had some serious issues with my car but HUGE shout-out to Jonathan, this guy answered all of my questions and was very informative. He made me really feel my car was in the best hands possible. He is the reason that I will continue my business at this location of pep boys. Honestly please give this guy a raise or promotion, he seriously went above and beyond for me. If you're reading this Jonathan, Thank you man!

Visited this location to get a warranty replacement for a failed AGM battery. They didn't have it in stock so we made an appointment to have the battery replaced. Arrived a few days later a few minutes before our appointment time. They made us wait almost 45 minutes until they assisted us, the whole time helping and fixing other customers vehicles. Once they finally gave us attention to finally do the battery swap, they told us we have to pay for the labor for the installation. Why would they charge is for a warranty replacement for a service we get for free from the rest of their competitors. Drive the vehicle home. Luckily I got to look under the hood about a month after because we found out that every fastener holding the battery was left loose. I'm talking about the hold down and the terminal fasteners. The labor charge they charged us was for nothing since they didn't even do the service correctly that they were charging us for. Last time I'm shopping at Pep Boys

Try the back of the store they have the Mufflers in the tires there if you come on the weekends a lot of times I have a special and and you get about I don't know about $4 off oil change in about $2 off the tires and that should help you
