NOT a recycling center. They won't take any household recycling material like plastic bags, or cardboard. Not sure what they're doing here, but it's clearly not recycling.

First time at this place, bearly made it there because I am super low on gas. The guys came out to my truck and turned me away because they could see a bag on top that had cans and bottles. I had just asked where the baskets were located to I could unload my truck. I guess they don't have any. LAME! They tell me I can't sort on the property and I said so I will go out the gate and unload. He refuses to give me any assistance. Horrible experience. Now I am stuck in petaluma an hour from home. I needed to get gas with My recycling profit. I don't recommend this place. Bad attitudes, from them all. Non welcoming environment. If I could rate them zero stars I would!!

During these times best to enter from F street; where the "line" starts. Bring something to read and exercise your patience. The guys that work there are polite and trying to get everyone processed as quick as possible.

Bit of a wait these days due to Covid, but they are handling things very well considering our current times. It's a really wonderful institution that we are incredibly fortunate to have locally, especially given the number of recycling operations that are closing up shop. Give these guys your business and support a good cause at the same time!

Currently 5 cents for cans and bottles under 24 ounces, 10 cents for those 24 ounces or more. You only get to be paid that rate for up to 50 each of plastic, aluminum, or glass. Go over that and they will weigh them instead, which can result in a lower payout.
As of July: aluminum 1.65, bi-metal .38 glass .105, plastic (pet) 1.33
