TheKat Attack!

I tried this place with my boyfriend a few months ago and I was, unfortunately, not very pleased at all. We did not have to wait to be seated, but we had to wait 40 minutes to an hour before we were served, and by the time we got our food, it was inedible. It was so buttery and fried that there was basically nothing there (I had ordered the fried shrimp). I had heard fantastic things about McVey's, so I was disappointed when I tried them for myself and it ended up not being a pleasant stop.

It was delicious. I had the surf & turf. Cooked perfectly, steak tender and flavorful and shrimp just right. Garlic mash potatoes...I loved them. Great price. Nice place...

Ok....first time there. I will definitely be back. Couple people told me ya gotta go there so I did. Joe the bartender was great. The staff were on top of things all around. These ladies knew their stuff.. Looking forward to my return visit.

Balanced Chaos

It was funny. The waitress was SO knowledgeable and attentive with my food allergies that I thought she was kind of on auto-pilot. She came back after five minutes and told me I shouldn't get the baked potato because it has sea salt on it. All the stars. Great food, great service, very fair price.
