1. The room still had the previous guest towel hanging in the bathroom. 2. The wall had blood spots on it, probably from someone killing roaches and the walls were painted halfway 3. They do not provide clean towels if you're staying more than one night. 4. They do not clean the room if you're staying more than one night. 5. The staff is lazy. 6. The pool had too much chlorine. 7. One of the lamps in our room was missing a light bulb. 8. The Front Desk attendant does not answer when you call the Front Desk for assistance. 9. The only views outside from your window are construction sites. 11. You can never reach the Manager and, of course, he only has one name. It starts with a S... like Sergio or something like that. 12. The Manager has no business number, no card and during the AM is always in meetings behind some closed door somewhere. 13. The window treatment and the bathroom shower curtain were both torn. 14. I would have given 0 stars if I could. The place is just unclean and in my opinion, disgusting. Be advised, enter at your own risk and health.

Terrible SERVICE! DON'T WASTE UR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!!! Also don't expect to have ANY privacy from housekeeping. Apparently they are trained to just enter ur room regardless if u are sleep or changing ur clothes!! They enter/knock THEY DO NOT WAIT for a response and management is ok with it. The ladies that work overnight and second shift are the only reasonable ppl in this "establishment". Outside of that steer clear. The rooms are OUTDATED!!! The Carpet is disgusting. It's old and smells of late nights and bad decisions. The pool is a puddle of jello. It's just not worth the peace of mind or ur hard earned money

Weird venue, nice staff. As if a 30 y/o hotel were parachuted into a permanent industrial park construction zone. Friendly, helpful staff. Well-appointed room. Cajun seafood takeout 3 minutes away.

I stayed here with my crew for two weeks. There was a new building being constructed in the parking lot, making parking difficult. I was not told about the construction when I booked our rooms, which were in disrepair. The breakfast selection was meager. Most of the trays sat empty while the staff sat in the lobby on their phones. The sink in my first room was clogged and took hours to drain. The closet doors were broken. The vent in the bathroom didn't work so the steam built up in the bathroom, which is probably why the walls in the bathroom were cracked and peeling. Oh, and the hotel would not clean the rooms. I was told this was because of COVID restrictions. Anyways, after a week of asking for my room to be cleaned I was told I could be moved to a fresh room. Great! But I couldn't move my belongings straight into the new room. No. I was told i had to pack everything and put it in the hallway and then the front desk receptionist would come check on me and if she saw I was fully moved out of the old room then, and only then, weekend she give me a key to my new room. It was ridiculous. I asked to just be able to take my stuff straight to the new room and skip the unnecessary steps of packing and unpacking, but the receptionist wouldn't budge. So I packed everything into suitcases and boxes and I piled everything out in the hallway. It took an hour to pack and pile it all outside the room. Then I went and told the receptionist I was done. And sure enough, the receptionist came up to verify I was packed and left nothing behind. She said she was worried about me squatting in the old room. It was an odd statement. But she did see I was fully moved out and gave me my new room key finally. It was the room right next door. I didn't another hour unpacking that night. The drain in the bathtub in the new room was clogged. There was a giant hairball in the drain. Of course, the cleaning service couldn't clean the tub now that I was moved into the room so I had to remove the hair myself so the tub could drain.

Depends on how and when you're going. It's definitely not within walking distance. At non-rush-hour, it's 20ish minutes by train, or 35ish minutes by Uber.
It depends on how and when you're going, really, but as someone else noted it's not particularly close. You're still in the suburbs here, so it's 25ish minutes by train or 40 minutes by Uber.
