We hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner for 46 guests on July 9th at Gravenstein Grill. We loved everything from the cocktails to the delicious cheesecake. The Garden Patio was private and very pretty, and we are extremely grateful to the staff for making this special dinner absolutely perfect.

Tempeh a plant based meat substitute salad I had here was great. The salmon tartare melted on my tounge. My wife had the chicken cordon blue with was spot on tasty. Great food.

I have always wanted to start a review with "it was the best of meals, it was the worst of meals". In some ways, this describes my experience at the grill. On Friday night I had the asparagus soup, and the famous burger. BOTH were outstanding. The burger was done perfectly and it didn't need any sauce or katsup. It was so good that I decided to go back the next night. Sadly, my next meal didn't compare. I had the crab cakes, and the marinated steak. BOTH were a disappointment. The crab cake was cooked well, but had a fishy taste, and the accompanying sauce was unimaginative. The steak was chewy and unimpressive. Both nights, I also had the hazelnut mousse which was delectable. I came back a 3rd day in a row and had the burger for lunch. Both the burger and the salad were perfect, and this time I enjoyed the burger sauce which added a whole new dimension

The venue is lovely. The food was sn incredible experience to the taste buds, definitely my new favorite spot. The cocktail and wine list is very good too. Highly, highly recommend this spot.

They seem very organized and I felt comfortable with their policies!!
This is a lovely place for lunch on these gorgeous Sonoma County spring & summer days when you & your friends & family can sit outside on their large patio. Some overlap with the lunch & dinner menu. Lots of healthy choices.
It was a redneck bar for ever called "Marty's top of the hill". Not sure what it was before that. I will tell you I got hella 9 inch rear ends out of Ford's wrecked by this bars patrons back in the day, must have been one hell of a party at Marty's.
