The law firm of Perry Johnson Anderson Miller & Moskowitz LLP do an outstanding job with what is in the best interest for their clients. The Attorneys are very diligent, professional and understanding through out the entire legal process. It has been a pleasure working with them as a client.

I used Kelsey O'Rourke to prepare and file a declaratory judgement known as a "One-And-The-Same" in pursuit of dual-citizenship requiring a case in the Court of Rome. Although this is not a common filing, Kelsey efficiently prepared the documentation and worked to successfully find a court clerk willing to file the case after their initial hesitancy because they "had never heard of this before". Thanks to Kelsey, I am now on my way to gaining dual-citizenship in honor of my Italian ancestors.

I recently collaborated with Attorney Chad Dorr regarding my Trust and Will. I interviewed a total of 3 Attorneys for this endeavor and chose Mr. Dorr. Mr. Dorr works at Perry and Johnson Law Firm, an organization that is led by one of the most formidable Attorney's on the West Coast, Mr. Johnson. Knowing that one of best Law Firms is on my side and has my best interest in mind during and after my life is priceless! During the crafting of my Trust, Mr. Dorr was compassionate (Trust's can be emotionally challenging), understanding, patient, professional and worked with a high degree of alacrity. Mr. Dorr shared best practices, his experience and produced a product (Trust and Will) that met my needs and surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend Mr. Dorr!!!!

We hired Michael Miller of Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz, LLP in Santa Rosa to help us in a dispute with our general contractor. Before we retained him, Mr. Miller assured us that he would ensure that our “lawyer dollars” would be spent wisely, given that we had already lost more than $100,000 to our deceitful contractor. However, we quickly became concerned about Mr. Miller’s billing practices, as well as his expertise and overall competence. Mr. Miller would charge us for services we explicitly told him not to perform, routinely charged us hundreds of dollars just to give us a quote as to how much certain legal services would cost, charged us for doing “research” in his supposed area of expertise, and charged us hundreds of dollars for brief emails (ie, one or two sentences). Moreover, we had to routinely edit his drafts because they were so poorly written and riddled with mistakes. It became clear that he was neither intelligent nor effective at devising a winning strategy against our contractor. We felt like we were doing all the work ourselves, while he was overbilling for our very brief emails with him, including emails where we asked him about billing. When we expressed these concerns to Mr. Miller, he became angry and defensive and refused to take responsibility for any of his incompetent or fraudulent behavior. Instead, he pressured us to initiate a lawsuit against our contractor that would cost up to $200,000. We refused and severed our relationship with him, and he said that we could pay whatever we thought was right out of our final balance. We did and thought that was the end of our relationship with Mr. Miller. Subsequently, we consulted with an honest lawyer with expertise in the area of contractor disputes who told us that it would be inadvisable to initiate a lawsuit against a contractor because it simply wasn’t financially worth it. She advised us on how to recover some of our losses on our own via the state licensing board. As she is not in the business of swindling people, she offered all of this advice for free and discouraged us from hiring a lawyer. Months later, we received two successive letters from Mr. Miller threatening to sue us if we did not pay the remainder of our balance (only $1000). Since we did not want to get embroiled in another dispute, we relented and paid the balance, even though it is grossly unfair. Mr. Miller is the type of lawyer that gives the industry a bad name. He is no better than the contractor that screwed us, and we were coming to him for help in a very vulnerable position. Lawyers like this should be held accountable and we plan to do just that.
