This is great main hub to get through the city. You can get to Bart stations from here and Napa, Rio Vista as well.

I've Been riding for 2-3 years at least. College students Ride for free if you have a valid SCC ID. You can Get Pretty much anywhere in Fairfield and Suisun using the bus. The Bus drivers are Usually nice unless you are an absolutely Insufferable Fool, then they kick you off.

I come here time to time to go to Vacaville, the drivers are always ensuring your wearing a mask, and wont let you on if you aren't so its a good safety rule. (Of 2020) Prices are easy for the most part, for the buses being on time they sometimes get there a bit early but they leave when they're supposed to which allows everyone who needs that bus to get on when expected.

Of all public transportation, bus systems in the SF East Bay Area, the Fairfield transit system is the absolute worst. The bus drivers are wonderful but the operators and city council that manages FAST is horrible. You cannot use a transfer for the same bus and reboard later, unlike all other bus systems. Also, if you use an Amtrak transfer they will not give you a transfer for the next bus, so your Amtrak transfer is useless because you will still have to pay the same amount to get to your destination if you use it or not. If you pay instead of using your Amtrak transfer you get a transfer for the next bus. This is just plain stupid and the bus company pockets the money they redeem from Amtrak, with no benefit to us, the customers. FAST does not care about their customer's needs. Currently they are planning on taking busses our of the schedule that provide service to Vacaville and combining 3-4 bus lines, local busses on commuter busses which will create a major problem for the handicapped, for people who work in either city as the busses will not run nearly as often. In other words, instead of increasing transportation, they are reducing the number of routes, stops and creating problems in the lives of the people affected. Considering that 70-80% of the bus systems income comes from the fed, department of transportation, you would assume that they would want to provide the very best service they are able, but that is far from the case. If you can avoid taking FAST, and it doesn't cost a lot, you would be far better off. FAST is only good if no other option is available. Sad thing is some people depend on FAST, and will end up out in the cold eventually. I recommend everyone to avoid FAST if possible.

There used to be a stop by the entrance & across the street years ago when it was Route 85 before they switched the routes around - now you would have to get the R (red line) bus & get off at the entrance on 37 & Fairgrounds Drive

I am not sure about the transit system bus fares for Vacaville. Go to the FAST website for pricing. That's the best advice I can give you. Good Luck.

If you go to the fast website, you will find the Blue line express bus schedule times that leaves from the Cordia area and that bus goes to the Pleasant Hill BART station. The fares for this bus is $5.00 The schedule also lists the times that the GX (green line) departs. The last GX bus leaves from the FTC around 7:50 am heading to the El Del Norte station. The fares for this bus is $5.75. Hope this helps. RG
