The ladies here made the experience quick and hassle free. Make sure you have all required documents and know that it takes at least a couple minutes to fill out an application. Applications must be turned in by 4pm so I suggest coming well before then.

Look at their website to make sure you have all your papers before you go and they are very fast. Google maps took me to a side door, which was confusing; the entrance is off Hudson street.

I'm not sure you need any if it's renewal...I needed 2 pieces of mail because mine had been stolen.....

Make sure to bring your driver's license, title and registration (for any vehicles you're transferring), social card and/or passport. Check out South Dakota Residency Center. They helped us in our residency move.
