I have been a customer of Lake Marine & RV since April 2021. If I was given the opportunity to go back in time and change anything, it would not be my decision to order a brand new pontoon boat with Lake Marine & RV. To start off, initially there were some mistakes that Lake Marine & RV made earlier on in the past that caused me some issues but they did correct those issues to my satisfaction. The company also has changed since then having gone through a major change of personnel by firing and replacing almost all of the management and some underperforming staff with management and employees that I can tell are the right fit for the business. Since then I have seen major improvement the last couple of months from where things were during the first quarter of this year. That being said, I do believe that they have learned from their mistakes not to repeat them and they are growing in the right direction. I also will say that the owner Dave Piersall cares about his customers and he is very fair in trying to resolve any issues you may have. He certainly did that for me multiple times. Contrary to negative reviews on various websites, I disagree with the reviews that claim Dave lacks accountability because I have seen through my own eyes that Dave has made a good faith effort to be decent and honest with me and he has in fact taken accountability for past issues of mine that Lake Marine & RV caused. For example, a fender bender happened to my truck in the parking lot at Lake Marine which they were responsible for. Immediately after the accident occurred, Dave took responsibility for the accident and Lake Marine paid to replace my tail gate with new OEM parts. He did everything in his power to make sure my tail gate is a high quality part painted to match my truck to my satisfaction and for the back of it to be rhino lined. I can’t say what happened in situations that other customers experienced because I wasn’t there but in my case there has not been a situation where Lake Marine did anything wrong to me and denied responsibility. Overall, Lake Marine & RV has treated me very well and they have been great to me in my book. A company that is accountable like they have been with me and an owner and management that is conscientious about making improvement and working hard to earn your business to keep you coming back as a happy customer is the kind of company you want to do business with. That is Lake Marine & RV which I highly recommend.

Alright place. Would be 5 stars had they taught me head to toe about the boat I purchased. Just realized I double paid and over paid for my inspection though, never let a place selling you something do the inspection🙄... and im pretty sure the fresh water pump doesn't work like it should. Also didn't give me the plug to be able to use the boat at a dock, so it has been hell trying to find a l5-30 extension cord for a week this was a consignment sale but still...

I have had nothing but success with the people at Lake Marine. The people have always been courteous and helpful, and I found the customer service to always be positive. Whenever I needed anything, I would stop by the storefront and was always met with positive results.

Dave lies. If he's talking, he's lying. And the service department is literally the worst I have experienced in any industry. A bunch of hacks who do half baked work and charge double fair market price. I could go on, but, I beg you, don't do business with this company. You will regret it. And Dave has an excuse for everything. It's never his fault. Watch, he will soon dismiss this review as part of some old customer vendetta. I am posting from my personal experience. Heed my warning. If you want a nightmare, Dave's your guy. Find somewhere else. Anywhere but here. You've been warned.
