I initially just left a one star review, out of the smallest remaining sliver of respect I had for the establishment. However, upon receiving an incredibly unprofessional, disrespectful (and hilarious) reply to my one star review from the owner, I am now going to expound on the reasoning for my one star review. In all honestly, I should have went with my gut and never have chosen to sign up for a membership at this facility from the beginning. But I had a desire to change my lifestyle and increase my level of fitness, and being that this facility is the only one available in my area, I went against my better judgment and started a membership. I would soon realize that I had made a grave mistake. I began to realize that the monthly payment was far overpriced for the little value that the facility had to offer. I also began to calculate the amount of equipment I would have been able to acquire on my own if I were to have saved the money I was spending at this facility.. but... Furthermore I went against my better judgment and continued my membership. I rationalized my monthly payment as a form of charity to the local business, saying to myself "you paid their internet bill for the month... Or their water bill" etc. Social distancing was not taken into consideration during the pandemic, for the sheer volume of people in such a small facility began to be overwhelming. At times there were practically lines of people at certain machines, waiting patiently for their turn to use it. And with only one single shower in the facility, created another line of people patiently spending their valuable time waiting to simply bathe after a workout... Those are only a few examples as to why I was displeased with my experience... So I decided to cancel my membership. I didn't realize the hurdles I would have to jump to make this a reality.. (I suppose I should have paid more attention upon signing for the membership). A HAND WRITTEN letter with reasoning for cancelation is required for a termination of a membership, I saw this as a silly and unnecessary rule, and decided to contact the owner directly (via text message and email) and she further enforced the silly handwritten message with revealing a personal piece of information (my reason for leaving). Meanwhile I was in the process of switching my bank account over to a new bank. In doing so, I decided to not inform the facility of this happening, and my membership would be terminated by default... I say all of this, to ask you one simple question... If you went out to dinner for a meal and did not get what you ordered, and get terrible customer service in the process.... Would you still pay for your meal?

Called two times to cancel membership and the owner choose to call me 6 days later and said I owe another month because of a 30 day notice. I had an issue with autopay at the beginning of my sons membership and she was not great with that scenario either. This location does not have professional ownership and it shows.

Overtime i go to East Troy Snap Fitness everyone is VERY nice. The place is always clean and the whole staff is nice and professional.i was there tonight and there was a gentleman there not very nice.Not sure why but just wanted to say if he said anything negative about Snap he was wrong.Been there for 2 years and now my husband has joined.Keep up the good work staff
