The clerk behind the glass would not speak to us without a mask, the room has no a/c and the bed was hard as a granite slab.

-No A/C - had a huge bug in my room. - ceiling had holes in them. Didn't feel very private. Window in the restroom had nothing cover them. So people can see in if they wanted to. -Area outside was quiet and clean. And the place was unique.

Pros: Nice staff, cute place from the outside, good price considering the area, could check in an hour early and choose whether we want upstairs or downstairs. Cons: Hot water didnt work, broken toilet flush with no fix (only 45 mins of pumping ourselves), stains on sheets (blood?), place needs to be renovated. Note: This is about 30 mins walk from Santa Monica Pier.

this motel was the best rate that we could find in the area, and we had a wonderful experience. very nicely decorated and has early check in which really helped with our travels. would recommend :)
