Little Bear Campground

We spent two days at Little Bear Campground at $33 per night (after Good Sam discount) with FHU. The campground is filled with large trees, level gravel pull-thru sites, singing birds, playground, game room and a pool. I received 63 OVA TV channels and both Verizon & AT&T worked well. The campground WiFi was the average campground speeds. Little Bear is designed for both tenters and RV’ers. Mike the manager is personable, friendly and appears to take great care of this campground. Little Bear is big rig friendly with easy on/off. For being this close to the expressway, road noise was not an issue.

Great overnight stop some noise from I 80 but not bad. Very neat and clean didn't use the bathroom or showers so can't report on them. We would definitely stay here again if coming through this area.

Very nice small campground (45 sites). We were in site #32, a pull-through, very spacious. Park has gravel roads and lots of well-maintained grass area. The manager/owner (Mike) is awesome. He escorted us to our site & stopped by to see if we needed anything, very resourceful. There’s a pool, which opens Memorial Day weekend and a playground. We didn’t use the facilities. $32 per night (with Good Sam discount), full hook ups, would definitely stay here again. Rose & Tony P.

Overall this was a nice little campground for an overnight stay. Full hookups at a decent price. Campground was clean and bathroom appeared clean (didn't use them) but they were cold inside. There are a handful of permanent residents along the perimeter and a few scattered around (it appears). Also seems to be the place for the locals to camp during the weekend (think the manager new many of the campers). Overall a nice campground with no real issues during our short stop. Would return if I needed a place to sleep for the night.
