Very clean and well maintained. Dispite being next to the railroad tracks it is surprising quiet. Lots of mature trees. Beautiful view of the Mississippi River. Typically government shower house. The only downside is that there are only two male and two female showers for the entire campground.

We only stayed overnight but thought this campground was very nice. The bathrooms were clean. Nice cement pad to park on with picnic table provided. Electric at site but not water or septic. There is a good dump site at the exit. Great views of the Mississippi river. Would stay here again when in the area.

Not sure I want to tell everyone how great this place is! Wonderful big campsites with great views of the river and a staff that patrols the campground very frequently. It’s also a 5 minute drive from wildcat den state park!

No not closed the lower loop is but spaces 1 through 8 excuse me 1 through 9 are still open they're occupied now but maybe they can't later on in the week.
