Location was perfect.. Minutes from Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier. You could bike over or even walk. We Brought our 7 yr old daughter and she was happy about the water taxi for $1 that you could catch right next to the hotel. The hotel itself...I would have a higher review if I did not pay 600 a night. Definitely NOT worth that! Hotel is old, boring, beds were comfortable but definitely not queens for the double room. Seemed more like full size. Not a Ritz Carlton feel at all in hotel. Valet was quick with the cars . The drains run slow and the refrigerator stunk so bad we could not use it. This Ritz is a bare minimum Ritz. The staff was nice and courteous. We went back and forth with staying at the Marriott across the street for 1/2 the price.

Great location. Great staff. Great food and drinks. Great room. Great basketball court. The shower had weak pressure. I would expect free java in the am but they charge for it. No newspapers (but most hotels cut this out).

Harlem Girl Treats

Took my daughter and best friend to the West Coast for a girls trip January 2022. Every bit of luxury you can think of this location has it covered! The staff was fantastic! I love it is close to Santa Monica. This will be our go to hotel every time we visit LA! Oh, they knew exactly what type of cocktails I liked and where we like to sit after one service! I am a detail girl and they nailed it! The views….. Undeniable!

This is really just a Courtyard by Marriott with the fancy Ritz name. Adjust your expectations and you won’t be disappointed. Pool is old and dirty. Rooms are not updated to the Ritz standards. Front desk staff is stuck up and rigid. One saving Grace was a good experience sitting outside for lunch at the hotel restaurant on the marina. But you could go down the road for lunch somewhere else on the marina and not pay the Ritz price. Bottom line, save your money and go somewhere else.
