Honeydip Donut: Unfortunately I do have to start this review off on a bad note. I can’t provide a whole lot of info on Honeydip Donuts because they do not have a website and their Facebook page is bare boned. In 2020 it’s just not acceptable to not have a website. That being said, I can tell you that this is one of the few shops in MKE that is open 24 hours a day. The quaint shop offers a myriad of donuts and has a pleasantly sweet aroma in the air. Today I have their flagship donut, the “Honeydip donut”. As far as I can tell it’s basically a glazed yeast/raised donut. The donut is light, airy, sweet, and has nearly the right amount of chewiness. It’s almost as good as Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed Donut, but it’s a tad less dense and could be the slightest bit chewier. I still highly recommend this donut and I’m pretty sure I’ll be back to try one of their massive cinnamon rolls

A good 24 hour donut dive. Get the early batch when they are first baked. The glazed yeast donuts are huge, soft , and will dissolve in your mouth. Not the prettiest donut shop, but it is a local “ma and pa” joint that serves tastier donuts than the other national brand
