I want to thank my Dr Carlos Martinez and Dr Lars Hertzog and Dr Maryam Mirzaei for showing concern for my very slow progress in the healing of my left eye cataract surgery. Dr Martinez even came in on his day off to personally evaluate my situation. Everyone is so understanding and extremely professional here. I would and have recommended Eye Physicians of long beach to several friends to be seen.

The medical service I recieve at Eye Physicions of Long Beach is excellent. My last two visits there, however, for opthomoligic exams took about 2 1/2 hours from my appointment time. The office and medical support staff seem to not be well organized needing to shuffle patients from one waiting area to another between different tests. In one waiting area patients were sat side by side waiting for a staff member to get them to move along (it's a good thing Covid is over). I think one more experience like that and I'll take my records and find another eye doctor. Sad, they are very close to my home.

The referral had a different address which delay my appointment, check in station was good, the MD took longer to see me, it was an 1 hour late!! For check out, the girl was very unprofessional! She was on the phone the whole time no courtesy to say I’ll be with you shortly, while there was 4 more people waiting in line after me to be checked out! I work in the medical field as well, and this office was unprofessional! It first starts off with the staff! I wouldn’t go back!

It's my first time coming to Eye Physicians of Long Beach and I truly believe that their team are A++ . The front office staff are professional, efficient, friendly and very helpful. I was greeted when I came in and notified of my wait time. I specifically requested for itemized receipt and they were happy to give me one. I was seen by their medical assistant within 5 minutes, she's very professional, organized and always explaining to me what to expect for each process of eye test. The facility is clean, organized and most of all the staff wear mask for Covid safety/ hand sanitizer everywhere/social distancing observed. First time meeting Dr. Lars Hertzog, he is very professional, gather appropriately the history of my eye pain, examined both my eyes and recommend the right treatment. I am highly satisfied with their service/care and I highly recommend Dr. Hertzog . Thank you very much.
