I must have come on a bad day because my poke bowl toppings were mushy and bland, like baby food. The ingredients tasted old and not fresh whatsoever. I don’t trust that especially when it comes to fish products.. steer clear and go to FreshFin instead

We decided to try a new place and came here this week. The process was simple and you order as you go (like chipotle). There was one gentleman there (who I am guessing is the owner) who explained us how it works. You pick your base, followed by meat and then toppings and sauces. He also recommended doing a signature bowl as the dish is already designed with the right flavors. We went for the salmon and tuna! The servers were extremely generous and helped us with any questions we had. The bowls tasted good but I think there is room for improvement in terms of flavor. I felt as though a certain zing was missing which would really set the bowls apart! Overall it was good, and they have ton of flavors to explore. I will definitely give it another shot and try something else from the big menu they have.
