We had the pleasure of visiting Norskedalen in July. We actually stayed in the 150+ year old Paulson cabin. (reserve through Airbnb). This place is truly a peace of heaven. It is so quiet and magical. You feel at peace when you walk the grounds. The history and the Bekkum Homestead are wonderful to experience.

Great trails, the front desk is always friendly and a family membership is so worth it for the cost. Highly recommend visiting to see the sights and enjoy some outdoor time with your family!

Awesome park! The staff was super friendly and helpful. We stopped in on a last minute visit on our way out of the area. As a result of our time there, we planned to come back for a summer trip with the kids. Great trails, historic buildings, and summer events! Definitely worth a visit.

Due to covid-19 youre not able to go inside the buildings. It is still beautiful to look at and walk around but would have been even better, and gotten a five-star, if we could have gone inside. Be warned that during Covid the bathrooms are locked.

I would use about 2 hours. Depend on how much you want to see. There are some distance between houses, + a shop and a museum to visit.

We have snacks available in the gift shop; if there is an event happening, such as Midsummer Fest or Music in the Valley, there will be food available. We do not have a restaurant on site though.
