I really appreciate what my lawyer Dr. Bill Latour did for me so far concerning my issue with the Social Security Administration. I do thank him and all of employees in his firm, the are always very friendly, helpful and courteous. Sometimes I wanted to let go but his opinion and expertise encouraging me to continue.

I was represented by the Law Offices of Bill Latour and was granted my disability the first appearance actually the day if the hearing. Life is much easier knowing I have a monthly check. I am grateful and extremely impressed. Don't use anyone else, they will get your your benefits.
puppet love
I'm a new client at Dr. Bill La Tour's office and I normally don't do reviews. I had such a good experience from the moment I called. Right now my only interaction has been with Wally and Brenda. I look forward in working with them. As soon as I get a better feel of what I'm going through I will be back to let you know. Stay tuned 😉

I'm really not sure how successful he is but I'm a client and he's working my case
Well, I was considering calling you, but after reading all of these awful reviews from people you let down, forget it. I’ll take my chances on my own.
Research will show possibly No wins??
It pay to take time and read reviews.
I don't know what to do, I hired this firm believing they had my best at hand. Same impossible phone calls, answering services. My case was supposed to be in July I had to write a letter to the judge pleading, that she give me a chance to find someone new. I sent a copy of the same letter I sent to the judge and a separate one to Bill by certified Mail. Never got a response it was like my letter disappeared. I had told my story to a great paralegal, he said his firm would be happy to take my case. So, once I ended it with Bill I called the same number and extension and they had never heard of him before. I now have a hearing in 3 weeks, I have to rep. Myself. With information I had to work and plead for. My 2 main Drs. Would not fill out questioner about my disabilities. I just keep praying that God will make me strong enough to do what's right it's been over 5 years. Please pray for me.
So True I wish you the best of luck. You wait hoping their doing their job to find out that they didn't follow thru on. The number 1 thing, MEDICAL RECORDS. Didn't Supenoa after 3 yrs for court date. I wish for you the best.
? That's horrible. I feel for you& to your daughter. I just started working with them & new to the process.
I just applied earlier this month. They sent a representative to help with my paper work. Idk how this will end up. Ppl told me it can take up to 3 yrs, but they do everything for u.
Dont go to them. If they dont make money from your case, they are not interested. Visit SSA again, jump the hoops. I went with Binder & Binder
Ill hold you too that then.
Yes they can. I had to appeal and just had court on June 1st. My lawyer was awesome in court.
I haven't been approved yet but they or in contract with me every step of the way.
It's a long process but they keep me updated
Dr Bill won my case & I received a back paycheck & I'm getting my monthly payments! The proccess took almost 3 years because the process with Social Security is slow but Dr Bills office explained every thing to me! I'm very pleased with the Law office of Dr Bill Latour
Find an Attorney with professional staff. Calls are never returned. The Attorney who attended my hearing was unprepared. Was not familiar with my case and therefore my case was weak. I was denied twice. Nobody has returned my calls requesting updates about my case.
Why are they stopping?? That's the first thing they will ask then it depends on the answer you give. They will not start application until this is settled
Make sure your going to the Drs regularly so they have something to give an update on and be patient
Run to a reliable lawyer. You won't get calls back & if you are expecting communication. Dont hold your breath. They'll drag you along. My son has suffered so much more since this experience. DEPRESSION & ANXIETY. & possibly losing everything. Good luck to you. Hoping your experience isn't as dramatic.
My lawyer who came to my hearing didn't have no medical records of my case at all, he was asking me for my doctor's papers, and what medication I was on...when it was clear I athorized and sigjned for my paper work to be released, the judge said I wasn't on meds, which I am, he said I denied treatment, which I didn't on steroids twice and heavy pain killers for my arthritis, and brutits, he said his decision was based on there doctors and lawyers, not mine, he didn't speak up for me not once at my hearing ..nore did he cross examine any of the doctor's, regarding my case, he didn't put no effort in winning my case
If he doesn't win he keeps fighting till he does. Paying via contingency gives them motivation.
In my sons case his mentaly impaired. But I know they have had a very communitive with us. I can't tell you we don't know what the outcome will be. But I can assure you I feel the outcome will turn out fine. But I do know alot of people that reffered me with him there out come was very positive. I've never heard nothing negative about him. Everything is so positive. And I'm very sure he'll do all he can.
It was one of those things where Mom said you need to call this guy and get help with your social security he help ed me. I'll explain my situation physically, and they had someone contact me get my information and then we met in court
Thank you for your question, Hayward! For legal assistance, please contact our law office at (800) 803-5090 or online at https://www.drbilllatouratty.com/contact-us/ and we'd be happy to provide you with a free case review.
Thanks Jose! We appreciate your comments.
I have no idea to be honest with you
We are so sorry for your loss, Nicole. Unfortunately, what you have contacted us about is different than what we would handle here at our firm. We recommend that you contact the State Bar Association for an attorney referral. We wish you all of the best.
Help me on appeal for benefits
I don't know the answer but you can goggle it
Not sure call Bill LaTour
What does this even mean?
Funny
That's good tell them to do the same for me it's now going on four years.
I live in Beaumont. I had an option to come to there office or come to my home. They came to my house & took all my info 10 years back.
I know what your asking and i don't remember exactly what it was. But i do remember asking and feeling fine with it. As it is set clearly by the state, and felt very reasonable. Not a straight answer sorry. Hope it helps.
Check with the law office, but I believe it is from the first date of filing.
Anyway thanks for all the input from all you people out there I guess I will not be calling back to the bill
Well like I've said before about this attorney. I personally don't know much how he works. But I can assure you that the people I have recommended have all won their case. I just open one for my son and so far so good. Either your not communicating with them every time you receive a letter you have to let them know so they can be aware. But if you receive letters from the social security office and your just sitting on it than that's your fault cause they are not mind readers. So work in communicating with them and you'll have positive results
As for myself I have never needed him for myself .but family members and friends i have referred them to bill latour and they all were so happy to have him as there lawyer.every single person have so many beautiful things to say about him and how success ful they have been.know I do have him to represent him because he is mentally impaired.I'll tell you later in time if my son case was successful too.
Call social security office in your area. They will know, not the attorney office. Good luck 🤞
I don't know
Don't use them
Most of the times, cases are denied the 1st time. Then an appeal follows. I've been denied twice now. The Attorney who showed up at the appeals court was unprepared and did not provide adequate representation. The office clerks are rude and unprofessional. I don't think they care about improving how their staff represents the business or clients. I'm very dissatisfied.
I would double check on that with SSA. If you rolled over your pension to financial investment. They can't dink you on that. Because it was from your pension. But every case is different, So your best bet is to inquire with SSA. You'd be surprised to find out the many different ways you can qualify for SSA. They have exceptions, so definitely check on what you might be in titled to. But, I definitely would not use Bill LaTour to help you. It would turn out to be your worse decision & nightmare.
