The service was good and staff was friendly. You can reserve or walk in. They have a live music section $20 cover (different musicians so price may vary). Fried Gyoza was delicious. Fried Tempura was delicious. The OMG sushi roll was delicious. The Emperor Kobe stake was alright. It was buttery, nice and tender, but little more seasoning was needed seemed a bit bland for a $179.95 (for that price I expected perfection).

We got there 10mins after our reservation. I had called ahead and they told me I had a 15min grace period. We arrived and they checked us in. We were the only ones in the waiting area. Then more guests start to arrive for reservations later than ours and they start to seat them. At this point I'm starving but I wait patiently. They continue to seat people before us. It is now an hour later and they finally seat us. I can understand there is a system but please communicate that to your guests. Why should I sit there and feel overlooked for being 10mins late when you told me you would wait for me but then dont seat me till the next hour. That could have been easily explained. Once seated the service was awesome. Our server and cook were funny and suggestive. Food was good and so were the drinks. We left satisfied.

Good time to be had by all, fun for the entire family. The steak and shrimp 🍤 is very good. The chef was entertaining and cooked the steak to perfection 👌

Yes, you can see the band from the bar. However, it may not be the best view.
They are requiring all patrons to wear masks upon entry and exit and to the restroom. There is outdoor seating available for Tappan and I believe regular dining outside too. My family and I made a reservation for tappan and we were seated inside, we are a family of 2 adults 1 child and a baby and we had the whole teppan area to ourselves. I felt like the did a great job with covid safety.

Its free to get in they cook your food on your table, I never had a steak there but there shrimp fried rice is delicious you should go you will love it .
