This hotel is perfectly situated on the water edge. It has a walkway for safe walking along the front and to the pier. The breakfast was great and way more than we could eat. Staff friendly! Would highly recommend a stay here.

Excellent place to spend the night. Staff was nice, prices were good and the room was clean. My favorite part was hearing the waves crash right out our room window. The pool looked nice and was clean although we didn’t swim in it, we stopped to check it out. The attached restaurant was very good and beautiful view of Lake Michigan! I’d definitely go back and stay there if in the area again and would recommend it to anyone.

Positive: Nice location. Great breakfast/restaurant. We got vouchers for free options or money off, food was very good to order from. Being gluten sensitive, great selection. Staff was so kind. My son loved the pool. I would stay here again and recommend to others. Negative: The water temperature fluctuated hot to cold throughout the shower. The ceiling in the bathroom was a little icky (not the worst). The direction to turn for hot and cold in the shower was 2 different directions. A little sign would maybe be helpful.

Had a fantastic stay at the Lighthouse Inn. The room had modern touches like wifi, flat screen, fridge/microwave, but the best thing was the view of the beach and lake. Breakfast is included with the stay and there are multiple offerings you can choose from, filling and flavorful. Private access to the local beach from the hotel steps away from my room. The hotel bar is comfortable, but if you want to go out there are a number of local and historic pubs within walking distance (Kurtz's Pub, Waverly Inn). Definitely give this family run business a try.
