Loved it. Great place to bring kids fishing too. Healthy water as there are tons of crawfish too. Wheelchair accessible and plenty of shaded spots.

I go here often to enjoy my lunch. Always clean and quiet. Nice view of the river and dam.

Nice camping spots. The 11 pm curfew was not taken seriously by some fellow campers on the weekend we visited. Lots of fishermen and early boat launches too.

You can CAMP ($25) overnite there. Not sure about just parking. You can call the VFW for that answer.

There is fence in some areas but not enclosed.
