Fireworks show was top 2 of all time for me. The rides and play gyms for the kids were great. The only thing bad I'd say was they served "American" cheese at the buffet. No real cheese. For a country club I thought they would have higher standards at $23 a plate instead of burgers and slop.

It is a basic midwest country club. You can tell when the place was built they had great membership. Today the building seems tired, not rundown, but in need of renovations. You can tell membership is down based on the lack of amenities. I predict Rockford Park District purchasing the golf course in 5-10 years.

July 26, my husband and I had the best wedding at Forest Hills Country Club. All thanks to the fabulous coordinator at FH, Chris. Chris was so organized, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and reassuring. She is so good at her job, we can’t thank her enough. The venue/ golf course was perfect. From driving guests out to the beautiful ceremony location on the greens of the golf course, to making sure all the decorations were ready, wonderful food and servers and a great/ stress free time over all. We are very happy with our wedding venue choice. We would pick them a million times over again. Thank you Forest Hills Country Club!!!
