Beach is very small. But it's very very nice. A nice place to just relax. The bugs can be a bit too much over there, and there are a lot of trees so if you're going to catch some sun, maybe pick a different beach. This one has a lot of shade, but I would go back.

Quiet park with a great view of the lake. Two picnic tables, restrooms, and a sandy beach and swimming area. Also, the lake funk algae smell is usually faint or unnoticeable here, compared to other access points along the western lakefront.

Beautiful but very small area. There are two picnic tables and a very small beach. There really wasnt a place to sit and enjoy the view in the shade so we did not do more than walk down and turn around.

Nice little local beach that's only good to bring little kids or pets. I wouldn't recommend getting in the water though, lots of algae floating about. Good place to BBQ or just sit down and relax.

Sadly, not anymore. I was just there in summer 2021 and there's a "no dogs" sign posted.
I just visited last week. Yes, there is a beach for swimming. However, the water is SUPER bad and currently the beach is covered in algae so I would not suggest it. Mendota County Park is up the road and has a filtered beach, not much better but the filter helps
