Don't like that they state $6 then you get there and they charge $12 for "event pricing". Seems too devious. Will park elsewhere next time.

You don't pay by the hour. The price varies depending on whether an event is going on. During some events, they raise the price from $6 to $20 for the day. I think I've seen it at $10 before, too.
$6 a day on weekdays, non event. Event pricing is typically 10 or 20, not sure about weekends.
