I have loved my time at the landing. I’m unfortunately moving due to work but would stay another year if I could. The facilities are beautiful and I love the apt layouts. They utilize space very well to make them feel open. Also notably, they apartments are incredibly quiet. I’ve never heard my neighbors. My few complaints are… the elevators are often down due to move ins/outs. This affects me more than other living right next to the primary moving elevator. The leasing office has historically been hard to reach, though it appears they are doing better as of late.

So this was the strangest encounter for me regarding this apt. complex. I spoke to a lady at the office called Vanessa I think, inquired about the apt I was looking for, she noted down my contact info and sent over all the details I was inquiring about. She asked if I wanted to self tour on that same day, I told her that I'd call back to confirm after speaking with my spouse. She also said I could make the appointment online. Confirmed with my husband that he would make it and scheduled the tour online, I received a text from the leasing office confirming my appointment and also provided instructions for the self guided tour. Someone then texted saying call me when you arrive so that a map can be provided or something along those lines. I thought to myself okay great. Then I get a text saying you don't have an appt today, I said I did and that it should have been confirmed their end. Just to be precise, I went ahead and scheduled it again. Anyways, my family and I headed to the building complex, I called and someone told me to make my way to the leasing office. Stood outside the office for a good 20 mins, called and texted, a rude and horrible guy with a heavy hispanic accent hung up on me mid sentence when I was trying to confirm my scheduling details. I ended up not having the tour, no one was at the leasing office, nobody on the phone could help or give me any sort of assistance and most importantly, no one got back to me to follow up!!! LOL...I thought to myself, if this is what it's like now, what's going to be like if I actually leased with them. I then came online and read these reviews and boy did I dodge a bullet, thankful that things went the way they did. So I can't really give any more information than this! Horrible and unprofessional experience!

Had a very unpleasant experience and moved out early. The day-to-day staff (Ku, Kim, Marie!) were AMAZING. The management office unfortunately was not. There was a change in attitude and responsiveness immediately after I signed the lease. Important e-mails and calls would go unanswered for days, if not a whole week or more, despite frequent follow-ups. This only got worse when I tried to get my security deposit back. They sent me a bill that was filled with egregious and unexplained charges, including one charging me 60% more than what they quoted me for a move-out cleaning. Their inability to calculate basic math was astounding - I wasted time having to create a detailed Excel spreadsheet to illustrate why their addition and subtraction was not correct. It's been 2+ months since I moved out and they've chosen to ignore me. I got <$200 back of a $1200 security deposit for an apartment I lived in for <2 weeks (but have aged 10 years dealing with them, so I've given up 😂) I did a lot of tours before deciding, and wish I had gone with some others I had loved like Avalon, The Martin, 399 Fremont. If having a stress-less living situation is important to you, I would think critically before signing a long-term lease here

Update 12/17/2020: After several weeks of negotiation and a postal fiasco with the check, I’ve received my full security deposit back. While I’m not happy with the process for getting this issue resolved, I’m grateful that The Landing eventually did provide my full security deposit back. Overall, my experience living in The Landing was good. I didn’t make very much use of the amenities, and with Covid restrictions, was unable to for roughly half my time there. I probably wouldn’t pay as much as I did again. That being said, I really liked the apartments and facilities, and the front desk staff was always nice to us. This building is perfect if you commute via Caltrain. One thing to keep in mind is the distance from the entrances to the apartments can be quite long, and often the only elevators were reserved for move-ins. This made things like moving in/our and bringing in groceries difficult. I recommend The Landing if you want a luxury apartment with good atmosphere and amenities. Previous review: The Landing staff didn’t show up for our (legally required) move out inspection. We agreed with front desk staff to let them inspect without us present and send us a list of issues. We never received a list of issues, and they charged us $150 for cleaning, but couldn’t tell us what the cleaning was for. Staff stopped responding to our emails. If you want to live in a building where the staff is responsive and abides by SF rental laws, don’t sign a lease with The Landing.

Most apartments actually have their own outdoor space! Some have balconies and some have patios (sizes vary).
We love furry friends! There is a $500 refundable pet deposit and monthly pet rent of $75 per animal. Each home is allowed upto 2 pets. Breed restrictions do apply.
We have reception, our own in-house café and wine bar, located in the lobby! There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Residents frequent restaurants in both Potrero Hill and Dogpatch.
Yes! The Landing features a keyless entry system to provide access and convenience to residents.
We have furnished apartments available for short term rentals. We require a 30 day minimum stay. To learn more, check out our website.
