When I tell you this is the best Italian food I’ve ever had…I have no words. SO GOOD! Service was excellent, and every single food we had was absolutely amazing. I won’t eat Italian food anywhere else again. I will be back!!!

Wow, what a hidden Italian restaurant gem!!! The food was absolutely amazing, service was quick and very authentic. This has to be the best Italian restaurant in Greenville South Carolina. The owner and everyone there was extremely nice and attentive. We will definitely be going back again!

Wonderful authentic Italian food and service. Intimate and small restaurant, which is lovely. Worth a wait. Our meals were absolutely delicious.

We were visiting Greenville for a work conference and found Giovanni’s on Yelp. We are beyond happy that we decided to have dinner there. The food was out of this world and probably the best Italian we have ever had at a restaurant. We had the mussels in red sauce (not pictured), lobster ravioli, scallops and shrimp over fresh pasta, and spaghetti for the smaller human. We have never been to an Italian restaurant that allowed us to pick the sauce (red sauce or creamy tomato). If you are ever in that area and love authentic Italian food, definitely check out Giovannis. It was worth every penny and we still dream of those dishes.

They have Chicken Francaise but I don't eat shell fish so I wouldn't know about that. However, I can tell you they have a robust section with seafood.
Both
You can dress casual or even business casual. I would not wear a tuxedo or gown unless it was teens going to Prom.
Yes
I highly doubt they have a gluten free menu. The restaurant is kind of old-school, in a good way. I dont see them having a gluten free menu, but I'm sure that they'd be more than willing to confirm or deny if you call them.
I would call and ask!
Richard A, it does matter if you've driven a good distance just to enjoy what you've described only to realize, at the time, that they have new hours. I can appreciate whatever reasons they have for their hours. However, the change created the necessity to know if it was temporary or permanent.
