What a beautiful, serene hiking trail. The views were so gorgeous and the sound of the small waterfall was very soothing. This trail had spectacular views of the mountains and the city. However, it's all uphill. It took us 3.8 miles out/back and I would rate this trail moderate. A great trail to workout your legs and glutes.

I wasn’t amazed by this trail but it wasn’t too bad either. Some nice views along the way but the trailhead was disappointing given there was no water or anything else to see. Might go back at some point but won’t be my first choice.

Amazing. Great hike. A little busy, but not annoying and most people practice good trail etiquette.

Great hiking trail, good for 2-3 hours work out about 4 miles round trip from sierra madre, find parking on the street, and ready to go!

You can get to part of them. Take First Water Trail off Mt Wilson Trail on the right coming from the trailhead in Sierra Madre

Dogs are allowed? Is it safe for them?

Yes. Keep in mind there are skinny sections of trail where you may have to pass another person with another dog. So unless the two dogs passing don't like each other it will be fine.
