Great place to go if you want exceptional home cooked food at an unbelievable price. If you want to overeat this is your place. We had pan fried chicken tenders, steak & gravy, cornbread salad, brown & green beans, cabbage, mac&cheese, fried squash, mashed potatoes w/gravy, cole slaw, biscuits, cornbread and dessert. Plus it was so good I had seconds and for only $20 each.

Great atmosphere, home cooking like your Great Grandma used to do. Cash is $20.00 per adult. That covers everything... drink to dessert. Family style sharing, order give thanks, eat til you can't move. Then they bring dessert. Oh, start off with yeast rolls and corn bread with real butter. Then there is the whole talking and catching up with the fam or a special moment for 2. Being here will take you back to simpler times. All the meats and veggies are country good. The experience is front porch friendly. Ya just gotta go. Take the whole family, take friends, most of all take your time. It's worth it. Open for Lunch and dinner.

The staff was very nice and the restaurant was very clean. However, was not impressed with the food. Was not the hype that everyone told us it was. Especially for the cost. The ham was dry and chewy. Chicken was greasy. Lots of side options but some were very bland. Maybe just an off night, but will probably not return.

Really fun dining experience. The fried chicken and meatloaf were well prepared and there were so many sides to taste and what appeared to be fresh butter! Some sides we liked better than others but we both enjoyed a full meal by the end. Very nice store up front to browse in while you wait.
