Scheduled a video appointment, a first in fact. Only have had this coverage for a matter of weeks. After making me wait for one hour and seventeen minutes, yes you read that right, over an hour, they finally emailed me to say they were sorry I cancelled. What? I was in the video “waiting room” and they didn’t bother to try. I called and was hung up on about 6 times by the “member services” team…they claimed that it was on my end, but I have confirmed with my phone provider that it was in fact them hanging up (a signal type is sent) and then finally I get someone who simply says “well it’s too late now, you will just have to reschedule” … I was there on time…if I missed my appointment with them, they would charge me a fee, but when they neglect to even attempt, I get nothing? My time matters too! Now my distrust for medical care in this country is finalized, I will never again, ever, seek medical help because of this. Doctors are humans, Nurses are humans…but so am I and I am worth the time and my time costs people money. I intend to invoice KP for my time that THEY wasted. The reviews are really bad for a reason! Believe them!

Poor customer service. I understand doctors run behind but your staff should start contacting patients of the delay. I took time out of my work day only to arrive and be told they're running an hour behind. Now my job is mad that I'm gone for much longer than I should have been. I'm new to kaiser and sorely unimpressed.

Always a pleasure. The pharmacists, technicians at the counter are always, always smiling, kind, lovely and helpful. It’s the best customer service and I know they deal with lots of grumpy and impatient people who are frustrated and in pain. Shout out to exceptional service!

Here is what you get for paying $1600/month for two people: Electronic kiosks have replaced receptionists and you are encourage to use these instead. Temp receptionists talking openly about not getting paid enough and tired of being treated poorly by KP. Nurses and PA's talk openly about getting their hours cut if they don't clock out and work overtime for free. Lab tech complained to me that she took 100's of patients that day and then stuck me twice unsuccessfully to draw blood. She then ranted about people not drinking enough water and handed me off to next tech who efficiently drew blood without any problem and much less pain! KP needs to treat their staff better and everyone needs to focus on better patient care!
