Clean, no smell, seems efficient. Surprisingly popular at 2 on a Thursday.

Love this recycling center. Easy drop and go! And the volunteers are friendly

There are very clear instructions on what goes where. The staff always has the appropriate knowledge to answer my questions. They do not accept batteries.

It's free to drop off. Just bring sorted recyclables and place in the correct bins. It can get busy though, so be prepared to possibly wait in line (in your car) if it's a weekend. But then then, the line moves quickly.

The recycling center is open on Saturdays also. 9 to 5.
Check out the website
You need to break down the boxes. They do not accept cardboard that has grease on it (pizza boxes) or ones that were wet at one time.
Google Recycle Spot South there is a complete list of what they will accept. The Red Bridge location indicates it will take digital cameras, iPods, GPS devices, MP3 players, printer and toner ink cartridges, cell phones and laptops,.
Not that I know of. Check Briidging The Gap website for a list of what they accept.
No
It's free
Hi Natalie, If you are on the Google maps page where you might of asked this question... Look at the to of this page, you will see a picture and a blue bar that has tabs. Underneath this bar are 3 buttons. One is a round Earth that has website title. If you click on this button it will take you to their website which lists what they take. I don't see styrofoam listed. Sorry if you already knew this, I just want to help people know that Google provides the information. It took me a while to find this button and tabs at the top of the page years ago.
It's open now. Hours are posted on line.

Call Kansas City's 311 action center. 816-513-1313
Yes they are open. They are open Wednesday thru Saturday starting at 9 am.
They take all types of paper in the same bin. They specifically call out office paper, newspaper, and magazines.
I don't think they sell them at the drop off location, but I could be wrong. I've never seen them there...
Not any more.
No. You might be able to find a styrofoam recycler at recyclespot.org
I would think so, as long as they aren't covered in something toxic.
No. Check out recyclespot.org to find the closest place to take batteries.
No, they don't.

No, not windows. If you remove the metal frames from the windows, the frames can be recycled at this center and the glass can be taken to a Ripple Glass bin. Details at RippleGlass.com.
No. You can try Surplus Exchange or Best Buy, but you will have to pay a fee.
