Came to the stairs for a hike with the family for Fathers Day. It was the perfect day. While there were a lot of people, it didn’t feel overly crowded for a Sunday morning. If you don’t want to hike up the stairs there is a less strenuous hike that weaves back and forth. Lots of wildlife if you looked for it. We encountered a huge swarm of bees but they kept to themselves and passed by. Nice views of the city from the top. Had a great smoothie at the bottom from one of the food trucks to put back on the calories that I burned.

My favorite place! I really enjoy the zig zagging paths. There are always some fitness people on the path. So it feels safer than other areas on days you workout solo.

Stairs trail is just over a mile long. However, at the top of the stairs another trails connect to a beautiful garden. If you feel adventurous, you could continue walking down to cross a bridge that will take you to a Japanese Garden. From there a new trail starts to a big park. This trails is the beginning of 4 beautiful trails. Last time, I only did 3 to a total of almost 8 miles round trip. I hope to go back for the last trail
