I ordered the grilled salmon and it was juicy and fresh. It was delicious. The backyard sitting is more relaxing and quiet. The front is a little dark and more for drinking. We prefer sitting at the backyard. We chat and drink and enjoy the food there.

The hidden gem of Santa Monica. After checking out other crazy pricey restaurants near Santa Monica central I stumbled on this quaint neighborhood spot. Im a single traveler. Friendly staff. Accommodating bartenders. Very reasonable prices. I came back each night I was here at least for a drink or 2 and dinner. I felt like I was truly in a neighborhood favorite !

Hi, Chez jay is 5:30pm Tuesday to Sunday and the backyard is 4pm wed-Friday 10am Saturday and Sunday
No age limit. Tiki Huts serve food, & non alcoholic beverages as well as adult beverages. Be sure to bring ID... No carry in alcohol, wink-wink! Coolers and food allowed, as well as beach chairs & small speakers!
