Lovely ambiance. My melt was not melted. There is limited staff so getting a corrected order was out of the question. Everyone else in my party was super impressed with their food.

5 star - For dinner we shared the Southwestern sandwich, it was very good. It's basically a burger on grilled parmesan sourdough. Daughter had a loaded baked potato that she loved. Then we bought dessert to go, we got the German chocolate cake (good), lemon cake (very good) and two scoops of ice cream (one salted caramel and one chocolate they are very good). Everything we ate had a homemade feel, and the ingredients seemed very fresh. Everything was reasonably priced, the total bill was approximately $45, we will be going back soon, I can't wait to try out the breakfast menu, and I'm looking forward to a "real" dinner menu that the owner said was coming soon. Lowered to 3 stars - Back for breakfast, well breakfast was pretty good (small menu), we both had bacon and eggs. Good portion sizes, 3 scrambled eggs, 3 large pieces of bacon, half a plate of potatoes, and toast. I was confused by the slow service, we were the only customers in the restaurant and it took a while to be seated, then a little longer to get our drinks (from my daughter-she didn't like that the water seemed to be infused with lemon, and the lemon was in the glass below the ice). Well this continued on it was longer to get our order taken, and then a very long time for the food to be brought to the table (minus my toast), the server said she would bring it right out. At this time we weren't the only customers and two more tables had arrived, the server took their orders and still didn't bring the toast, we finished our breakfast, and we're now waiting for the check, and she showed up with the toast, it took about 10 more minutes to get the check. I was surprised by the difference in service from our first time, the food was still very good, we will give them another visit to see if this was just a fluke, or if bad service is the norm.

The most lovely place to spend an afternoon. Small town charm. The ambiance alone is worth the drive. The food selections are plenty and reasonably priced. Delicious selections. Cuter than cute place, unlike any other. The owner is gracious and welcoming.

Beautiful place and good food. I've been coming here for years and I always get the Island chicken. Since recent change of owners or due to the pandemic, they are understaffed so the wait was a little longer than usual. Overall it a great atmosphere just sitting inside looking at all the beautiful decorations.
