Half of them were dead. They were decent back in the day but have gone downhill in quality alot, I'd rather buy frozen ones online than purchase here. Save your money and go elsewhere. Also the owners were pretty rude this time around when I asked why so many were dead.

Great family owned and operated business. Interacted with 3 generations in the business from Tony "Pa" Wheeler, his daughter down to her son who helped load my cooler up with crawfish and carry them to my truck. Super friendly and great mud bugs!! Out of the 15 lbs I bought there *might* have been two gone... at the worst. All cleaned and purged and ready for the pot. We will be back next year, and the year after and the year after that!!!

Here in Texas and Louisiana their season time is usually in spring into early summer before they stop farming them. I'll be moving up there in a month or so, so I am curious as well y'alls seasons for crawfish. But I would think it'd be about the same time as they are here maybe a little longer for you since it gets extremely hot down here
