Have been trying to get a real person to make an appointment all morning. Wait times of 20 minutes is horrible customer service! Haven’t gotten ahold of anyone yet. Yes, I am a current patient. Kadlec, shame on you. At least put a call back option on!

I have a great deal of patience, understanding, and compassion for medical professionals. I have worked in various sectors of the medical field my entire career. I know how horrendously the public treats medical staff, especially when demanding something with the speed and price tag of a fast-food joint when you have laws, procedures, insurances, etc to consider, not to mention their very lives. So I don't take lightly rating a doctor or office like this. But I haven't seen such arrogance and outright lying since I left the East Coast. I won't comment on the front desk staff because working with the public while being bound by HIPAA and state and federal law is insane. The MAs and nurses, x-ray tech, and all other assisting staff were completely professional, competent, transparent, and compassionate. They shared all the knowledge they had, listened to what we had to say, and told us when they didn't know the answer to a question. My rating does not apply to them. However, the orthopaedic surgeon that came to follow was an arrogant, judgemental misogynist. He did not listen to a word we said. We were uniformly dismissed. He took one look at the injured person and, seeing that they were obese, wrote off the injury entirely and without empathy. The injured person was in so much pain, they could not barely speak and were trying not to cry. I was attempting to advocate for this person and their pain, and the doctor told me "we don't prescribe pain meds for this kind of injury." Really. You don't prescribe pain medication for a broken bone? That is untrue, unless you no longer hold prescribing rights. Also, side note, this person is allergic to opiates! Obviously he didn't bother to look at the chart or listen to us when we said that multiple times. He clearly assumed we were drug seeking. There's this handy dandy online system that tells you if a person is consistently getting opiates nowadays. He didn't bother to look at that either. (I know this because I've used it hundreds of times because I have worked in pharmacy for over a decade.) But the winning number was this- he lied directly to us, assuming we were complete idiots. He straight up one hundred percent lied. He told us that there are "two kinds of sprains" and then went on to explain them, the second of which was "when the ligament pulls a piece of bone away with it and that's the kind you have". Then they put her back in a splint and sent her away. Um, no. That's called an avulsion fracture. Fracture. As in BROKEN BONE. I know this, BECAUSE I'VE HAD ONE MYSELF. You could clearly see on the x-ray it was broken. The patient had to go to her primary care doctor to get any type of pain relief, to be told the truth about the injury, and to get any real instruction on how to go about the healing process. Dr. Scallon, you, sir, are a genuine donkey's behind, an arrogant son of a gun, and you have your head stuck so far up your own butt it's a wonder you can still breathe. In an age where the public has access to educate themselves and people larger than you are the majority of the population, you should know better. Consider reevaluating your decision making paradigm. 'What goes around comes around' is a colloquialism for a very good reason.

Terrible experience my husband had surgery. He was in extreme pain a few days later after surgery and they said nothing was wrong we knew something was not right and sure enough retore his shoulder and now having to do a second surgery after the dr there wanted to leave it while another 2 different surgeons and doctors agreed it needs to be fixed at another clinic. DO NOT Recommend. Not to mention they are not compassionate and are just trying to get through the numbers it seems.

I had a hip replacement performed by Dr. Chad Williams and the kadlec OR team two days ago. Every member of the team was friendly and professional throughout my experience. Dr. William's was extremely patient with all my questions and concerns. He even called me at my home the day following the procedure to check on me. He asked for my feedback on how he could provide an even better experience for his future patients. I was very impressed by him and the Kadlec OR staff. Thank you.
