Bad experience from the lackadaisical crew and manager Shak. Crew stands at the front of the store, talking and on their phones. When you ask about an item they look it up on their phone, never offering to show you or help you otherwise. I was interestingly at Home Depot the same day and got an amazing customer service experience. HD employee stopped me as I entered the store "can I help you?" and then walked me to the screen section and talked me through a screen replacement DIY project step by step. At Lowes I was told they were "out of ceiling tiles, not coming until next week." I walked myself to the aisle of interest and found many boxed and unboxed tiles. Having only needed a few, I attempted to buy 4 unboxed tiles (which had a price of 56 cents per sq ft.). I was then told by the crew that I could not buy these individually, and needed to by a $48 case which I did not need. I then spoke (kindly) to the manager Shak. He stood about 15 ft away from me, never coming over to me but talking loudly in my direction (bad form). My case was "you have an open box and I want to buy 4 tiles which have a price." He told me "no" and "what we do with the open box is not your concern." At that point I paid the $205 for my other items and then left the store. I won't be back when a clear cut superior choice sits across the street. Shak and the Lowes crew need to work on their customer service if they want their share of the Monkey Junction market.

Over 30 years ago I stopped going to Lowes for it's horrible service. I would literally drive 40 miles to a Home Depot because it was that bad. Three years ago it seemed that HD & Lowes switched COOs because it was like after 30 plus years Lowes finally "got it" & HD lost it. Today it seemed Lowes has switched back to the old Lowes. Horrible service and a pitiful excuse from the manager Looks like I'm back at HD

Lowes' "failed" computerized inventory, items in or out of stock, is making Lowes' employee look incompetent. When looking for a replacement, the sales person had to go to the stockroom and then tell me the model on the floor was out of stock. Did this 3 or 4 times. There is no need for customers to get upset with hard working Lowe's employees. Today, I went to pickup up our store paid washing machine. Originally, washer was to be delivered two days ago. Going to all three Wilmington NC Lowes, sales counter said that washer is now out of stock. When getting my paid washer refund, the nice sales manager reported she could not print a canceled receipt, but said I was welcome to take a picture of the Lowe's computer screen. Item CANCELED. I feel sad for all Lowes' employees having to work in this environment.

Wow! This father's day was full of alot of manly help from Sheng, Doug, Leslie and finding out my planter was cracked Terry and Tory were able to help us out and made the end of our visit just a lovely as the journey! We will definitely have to add them to our Loco Onos List for hardware teams....!!! Come on in and save on d I y or local projects today! Lowe's has you moving forward..💪👊👍😁
