My first time at this salon and Jenna was amazing. she listened to what I was wanting even double checking to make sure we were on the same page. I had self colored and my hair needed a lot of TLC and now my hair looks great. I will definitely be going back.

My husband set up an appointment here for my Mother's Day present, and I couldn't be happier with how my hair turned out! Zach was so nice, friendly, and did an *amazing* job with dyeing my hair purple; he was also very patient (especially considering my hair is hip-length). Will also helped with bleaching my hair, and he was really nice and friendly too! Zach and Will were both very skilled and all the products used on my hair smelled great and was gentle, yet effective. (I also loved the Tea/Coffee bar they had set up; it was such a nice touch and their loose-leaf tea blend is so tasty!) I was so nervous about having my hair done, it can be hard for me to trust other people with my hair. The fact everyone at Wild Olive Salon was so friendly, welcoming, and made me so happy with my hair has been amazing! I can't wait to go back 🖤

A bit more on the expensive side for a hair salon in Jacksonville, but 5 stars because theyre totally worth it! I've seen a few different stylists but they've all done a great job on my hair. Jennifer is the one I see on a regular basis now and she's amazing! I keep coming back for them and the relaxing atmosphere.

My daughter had a 4:00 appointment today for a special occasion style with Taylor at the Wild Olive Salon in Swansboro. Tonight is homecoming so my daughter asked the stylist for a simple curl style. Homecoming didn’t start until eight so we asked her to curl it the best she could so that the curls would not fall out. The lady curled my daughters hair nothing like the picture she showed her. She curled each piece over and over until I explained nicely a couple times that you have to use a smaller barrel curling iron for the curls to hold. Yes my daughter has fine hair but she curls her hair almost daily and the curls hold all day at school and cheerleading. She continued with the same big barrel curling iron with no result until finally she asked the other stylist Zachary to help. Zachary was so incredibly nice, personable and helpful but most importantly didn’t make us feel like an inconvenience one time for being there. He showed the stylist how to tease and add volume to my daughters hair but she did not try a thing that he showed her. My daughter had one big sectioned piece that stuck straight up on her head, it looked absolutely ridiculous. The lady didn’t spray my daughters hair or even ask if she liked it when she was finished. Besides me asking her several times to actually curl her hair and try to recommend different things, she said nothing to my daughter besides telling her that her hair was too thin to hold a curl. Who says that to a girl especially before they go to a dance! She looked as if she did not want to be there the entire time. The appointment was scheduled for an hour and fifteen minutes. We were maybe there for 40 minutes before we were rushed out. I curl all three of my daughters hair daily with inexpensive curling tools, products and no training. I could have done my daughters hair and made it look a million times better. Needless to say, I re curled her hair just fine (her hair holds a curl wonderfully) when she was suppose to be taking pictures with all her friends. I also want to mention that the lady at the front desk was not welcoming either. She gave us rude looks the second we walked in to the minute we left. If the ladies didn’t make checking out super uncomfortable, I was going to add gratuity for Zachary and would love to tell him thank you. He was so helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming! You could tell that he genuinely cared about his clients hair. He did an up do while my daughter got her hair done and it looked absolutely gorgeous. The girl in the chair looked happy the entire time, my daughter smiled one time during her appointment and that was when Zachary was helping with her hair. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to get their hair done. I did try calling the number on the website but it went straight to the Swansboro salon. I would love to hear from someone in charge of both locations.
