Vons and Albertsons are owned by the same company. They started or resuscitated an old marketing trick, namely, club membership and giving coupons and discounts other shoppers do not get. It gives you a sense of exclusivity and privilege and club ownership an "air of superiority", Yack!

Oh man, get ready for help yourself shopping, a meat man that would rather butcher you then the steak. Employees are burned out, no morale. They need a Customer Comes First class daily. Something lacking in the employees friendliness, not just once, not twice, not three times, many!Just plain rude. I keep hoping someone will talk to me while I check out, but that is not happening. I think the pandemic just burned them out.

The selection is good, store is big,and clean. I usually find what I am looking for when I shop here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The guy in the produce section observed me instructing my kids to pick some fruit,and he took the time to show them how to properly select fruit. My one issue is often some of the available groceries are very close to the expiration date. If I buy a packet of cheese or meat,I don't want it expiring 2 or 3 days later. The Inglewood store never had soon expiration dates,but the lines were so much slower and longer,than Torrance. This store also has great 5 dollar Friday sales. Their rotisserie chicken is really good. The guys at the meat counter and very polite and friendly. I love their thin sliced black forest ham. The bathrooms are clean and the parking is ample. It can get pretty busy here.
