This is a family restaurant. Country cooking at its best Love the Barbecue platters My wife loves the seafood Broiled scallops and fried crab cakes and clam strips. $20. Can’t beat it 1 hour away from the water

Great little hometown restaurant. The BBQ plate was delicious, the stewed apples and mashed potatoes as side were great as well.

Thought 'the pie' might be overrated - it is most definitely not. It was great and by itself, worth the trip. I cannot wait to pick my daughter up from camp so we can stop at RHR again on the way back home.

Went for our 44th. Anniversary. Both had the Country Ham Steak, which was excellent. The staff was very attentive. An all round gr8 dining experience!!
