If you are thinking about taking a fishing trip to Nolin lake then look no further than the new lodge. We were the first guests to stay in this location since the new owners took over. From check in to check out we had an amazing time. The owner was on site the entire time and was so willing to help and be apart of anything we had questions on or recommendations asked. The new room renovations are amazing and more than could be asked for on a brand new location. You can tell attention has been given to every aspect of this project. From the balcony overlooking the marina, to the the rooms themselves and the small details like the scenery around the lodge. I cannot wait to come back tans book another stay. They have pet friendly rooms as well. We rented a slip at the marina separately for a few nights. If I give a review it’s for good reason. 5/5 stay and cannot wait until the restaurant is open and live music starts. This place is going to be one of the premier places to stay at Nolin lake before long. I also have a video I made if you look on YouTube and type buoys lodge at Nolin lake

I would have given this a better rating if the catfish and green beans were hot. The fried catfish was definitely not right out of the dryer. Seems like it was sitting under a light to stay warm for the next order. Same with the green beans and hush puppies. They could have microwaved them to make hotter. Nice place off the beaten path but the fish, green beans and hush puppies were barely warm.
