By far the most polite and respectful campground i have ever been to, even with a horrible start to this vacation at a different campsite ( i think John was his name) John helped us this whole week and has checked up on us daily, he has been very flexible with money and our schedule and the bathroom is very clean, i have not seen a single piece of trash and the surrounding area is very beautiful and peaceful even with a road next to it. The people are polite and Parker was an amazing guide, thank you for by far the best camping experience i have experienced.

I just dropped by to take photographs. I didn't attempt to do anything here but looks interesting. Here's some photos that day. I do drone videos too on FaceBook. I appreciate the folks for creating places like this and other parks in America.

I've been going there my whole life. Last I went was my first time with just me and my girlfriend. John, as usual amazing, and very helpful. Amazing camping neighbors! Good fishing, and all around just straight good vibes. :)

My husband travels for a living, this summer our 15 yr old son and I decided to tag along. After camping all over from Pennsylvania to Maryland we ended up in North Carolina for and extended stay and wouldn’t you know it I fell in love with a camper and purchased it! Without having a truck to haul nor a place to haul too!!! My husband called several campgrounds after speaking with John he was beyond helpful answered all our questions gladly and reassured our very new and rookie camper owners he would be there and walk us through the setting up process!!! Sure enough we got there not only was it a beautiful location to explore, John never left our side helping back in level up and even going through some basics we “needed” to know! Only planning to be a few days turned into a month long stay where we fished our hearts out met the friendliest neighbors and explored some nice walks around there 3 ponds. The campground is always clean and closely watched and monitored by John who is always willing to lend a helping hand!!! I’m sad to have to leave the campground I’m gonna miss all the wonderful people we have met and now call friends. Looking forward to next year when my husband travels back down here for work again bc we already know we will have a place to stay surrounded by good friends and amazing outdoors to enjoy….

This is a question beyond my knowledge. However thank you for posting a very important question. Not only is it good for the information to be able to be found on the world wide web. It is also an opportunity for me to get a few points on Google reviews for leaving a detailed review. Thank you so much for your question and I truly hope someone answers yours in a timely manor. Until next time good luck and happy camping 🏕 ⛺

Are the public or do you have to pay to use them? Can I bring my dog there to swim?

I am not sure if it's public right there on the actual campground. You would have to call them, but everytime I have tried calling, no one answers....I believe you can go right next to the camp ground where there is an open field with a river type thing and let the dog swim. I see people out there all the time. There are sometimes geese and ducks out there, just a heads up...But look, I DO know for sure if you take the dirt road next to the camp ground (there's a huge sign for the lakes) take the road down to the lakes, just follow it down, continue going right past the graveyard....and then turn left where you see the only turn (don't go straight) the first lake you come to is huge and free to fish and your dog can swim there. People swim there. They have a rope swing with a platform out there. The man that owns the lakes is really nice. Talk to him. :) hope this helps!
